Hi!
I've been busy since my last post so please forgive me; but now I'm back, at last...
I've kept working on the "race chameleon": I've managed to sculpt the female rider and to add the saddle.
I also had some resin casts of the "Red Thirst" bust (I hope you remember...) so I've painted one.

Sono stato un po' preso dal mio ultimo post quindi cercate di perdonarmi; ma ora sono tornato, finalmente...
Ho continuato a lavorare sul "camaleonte da corsa": sono riuscito a scolpire la fantina e ad aggiungere la sella.
Ho avuto anche delle copie in resina di "Red Thirst" (spero ricordiate..) e ne ho dipinta una.

The alien creature is completed! I've made some small changes: legs are a bit thicker , claws added and a longer tail.

Ho terminato la creatura aliena! Ho fatto alcune piccole modifiche: le gambe un poco più spesse, ho aggiunto gli artigli e una coda più lunga.

This is the new sculpture I am working on. The occasion was the new contest of the NKGC community to which I belong, the theme this year is: FUTURISTIC RACE.
I wanted something that had nothing to do with roaring engines and sinuous body, then I reflected on the fact that animals are used in racing too and, since it has to be futuristic, I thought of an alien creature and its rider. That's where I got ...

Questo è la nuova scultura alla quale sto lavorando. L'occasione me l'ha data il nuovo contest della communty NKGC di cui faccio parte, il cui tema per quest'anno è: FUTURISTIC RACE.
Volevo qualcosa che non avesse a che fare con motori rombanti e carrozzerie dalle forme sinuose, allora ho riflettuto sul fatto che anche gli animali sono utilizzati nelle corse e, visto che deve essere futuristica, ho pensato ad una creatura aliena e al suo cavaliere. Ecco dove sono arrivato...

Nurgle daemon prince

I bought these miniatures when I went to GW Open Day in Nottingham some time ago: a Nurgle Daemon Prince with his harald and two preachers; now I've started putting them together.
I've built a stair using plaster and converted the arald's arm to make it a standard bearer, I've also started to model some nurglings to put in the diorama: pure fun!!

Ho comprato queste miniature quando andai al GW Open Day a Nottingham qualche tempo fa: un  Daemon Prince di Nurgle col suo araldo e due predicatori, ora ho iniziato a metterli insieme.
Ho costruito una scala utilizzando del gesso ed ho convertito il braccio del araldo per farne un porta stendardo, ho anche iniziato a modellare alcuni Nurglings da mettere nel diorama: divertimento puro!
